What a useful report looks like

You don't need technical language. Include the page, your inputs and the result you saw. For example, a question about overs could read:

“I'm using the Overs to Balls Converter. I entered 17.4, and it returned 106 balls. I expected 104.4 because I treated 17.4 as a decimal. Can you explain the difference?”

In this example, 106 is correct for six-ball overs: 17 × 6 + 4. The question still helps identify an explanation that could be clearer. If your result looks wrong, include your own calculation or a link to the scorecard you're comparing.

Check how the tool reads your figures

For an overs question, the Overs to Balls guide explains the difference between overs notation and decimal overs. Check the labels and worked example on the calculator you're using, too.

Our DLS target tool gives an educational estimate. For an official rain-adjusted target or a match dispute, use your competition's officials and playing conditions.

Replies and follow-ups

Use an email address where you can receive a reply. We may need more details to reproduce an error. There is no guaranteed response time, and a suggestion doesn't come with a promised release date. If you follow up, include your original message so the context stays together.

For a question about information you've already sent, email us with the subject “Privacy request” and the approximate date of your message. Our Privacy Policy explains these requests. Visit About CricketCals for more about the tools and their limits.

Which figures should you include?

Copy the inputs exactly as entered, including the dot in an overs figure. Then add the result shown and your expected answer. The details below help us reproduce the same calculation.

If your message will not send

Check the highlighted fields first. A message needs 10 to 2,000 characters, and an optional phone number must contain 7 to 15 digits. If sending fails, your entries remain in the form so you can copy them into an email to cricketcals@gmail.com. Avoid repeatedly submitting while a request is still pending.

A success message means the email service accepted the submission; it does not mean someone has read it. Starting another message clears the form, but does not delete a message already sent. For access or deletion questions, use the contact route in our Privacy Policy.
