Privacy Policy

You can use the calculators and read our guides without opening an account. The contact form is different: it asks for your name, email address and message, with an optional phone number. Leave the phone field blank if it is not needed for your enquiry.

Submitting that form sends its contents through EmailJS to the site's connected email service. If you email us directly, your email provider sends your message and sender details to our mailbox. This correspondence lets us reply to questions, investigate reported errors and follow up on privacy requests.

Loading a page also creates network requests. The website host and services supplying ads, fonts, scripts or images receive technical information needed to respond, such as your IP address, browser information and the requested resource. Depending on browser settings, a request may include a referring page address. Those services may keep access or security logs.

For a calculation problem, send the tool name, numbers entered and result you expected. Please leave out player contact details, passwords, payment information and other sensitive information.

The arithmetic in our six tools runs in your browser. The calculator code does not submit your entered match figures to a calculation server or save them to a CricketCals user account.

• Batting strike rate uses runs and balls faced.
• Bowling economy uses runs conceded and overs bowled.
• Run rate uses innings figures and, for a chase, the target and overs available.
• Partnership uses the figures entered for the batting stand.
• DLS target estimator uses scores, overs and wickets for an illustrative rain-interruption estimate.
• Overs and balls converter converts the number you enter between the two formats.

Where a tool offers Copy, clicking it places the result on your device's clipboard. Pasting it into another app shares it with that app. Reset clears the tool's displayed entries; it does not delete a message already sent to us or clear cookies. Your browser may retain its own history or restore form entries.

Local arithmetic does not make the whole page free of data collection: the advertising and resource requests described below still occur when those services load.

CricketCals includes Google AdSense advertising code. Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies to select ads using previous visits to this site and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners tailor ads across participating sites.

Google may receive the page address, IP address and browser or device information when its services load. Cookies and other identifiers can support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization, depending on the service, settings and consent choices.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. For participating third-party vendors, see the choices at YourAdChoices. Opting out of personalization does not remove all ads or prevent every advertising-related data use.

Your browser settings also let you inspect, block or delete cookies. These controls may apply only to that browser or device, and clearing cookies can reset saved choices. If a consent message is displayed, review its vendor information and available controls. This policy explains data use; reading it is not consent to personalized advertising.

The site uses the following external services. A service can receive a browser request even if you never submit a contact message.

These providers have their own processing practices. Their systems may be located outside your country. EmailJS states that its primary processing facilities are in the United States; its policy explains its transfer safeguards.

The calculators do not provide a saved calculation history. Contact correspondence is a separate record: a submitted message may remain in EmailJS request history and in the receiving mailbox. Clearing a form, closing a tab or deleting cookies does not remove those copies.

Provider logs and request history follow the relevant service's settings and retention rules. A provider's deletion period does not necessarily apply to a copy delivered to an email inbox. Contact us to ask about the retention of a particular message or to request its deletion, including any related follow-up correspondence.

Our guides link to cricket rules, reference material and other external sites. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy policy. If you submit information there, that service handles it under its own practices. External resources embedded in a page can make requests before you follow any link, as described in section 4.

The tools need cricket figures, not a child's identity. A young reader can use the calculators without providing a name, school, phone number or email address. Please avoid including identifying details about children in an enquiry or a copied scorecard.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information through our contact form, email us with enough detail to locate the message and request its removal. Advertising and other external services can still process visit information as described above.

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights can have conditions and exceptions. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.

Send a request to cricketcals@gmail.com. You do not need to use the contact form. Include the email address used for the original message and an approximate date so the relevant correspondence can be located. Further information may be needed to verify that a request concerns your own data; do not send identity documents in an initial email.

For advertising preferences, use the controls linked in section 3. A request to delete a contact message does not automatically change Google's advertising settings or erase cookies stored in your browser.

No website, email service or transmission method can promise complete security. Share only what is needed for your enquiry, especially when sending information about another person.

On a shared device, remember that copied results can remain on the clipboard and browser history can show pages you visited. Blocking external scripts or resources may change the appearance of a page or prevent the contact form from sending.

This policy describes the site's calculator, contact and third-party features. It may be updated as those features or their providers change. The date at the top records the latest revision. Check this page before sending information if you want to review the current explanation of how it is handled.
